Description: This deck started with a conversation with Karl Schaefer. I wasn’t going to be able to attend the NAC this year. I needed a way to live vicariously for the summer so, when Karl said he was seeking ideas for the Week of Nightmares and Origins I jumped right in with suggestions. Karl, showed me a deck with Malkavian Antitribu that he was thinking about playing. The main card he was looking at was Private Audience. Considering that most votes, right now, are being made by Camarilla and Anarch titles; it made sense to control referendums that you call for Sabbat. Private Audience does that. However, when I analyzed the deck I felt that the win condition was too slow and you can’t just rely on vote control. So, I thought the Malkavian Antitribu was a weak version. However, if you replace them with Nosferatu Antitribu you have an alternative oust condition and protection with Inside Dirt. So, I built the deck and sent it to him. We worked on various arrangements based on playing style. Karl and I have very different playing styles but it’s those differences that really helped shape the deck. The combination of styles runs through this deck. The final outcome was a swarm, vote, bleed, dirt deck. Karl Cards: The Hungry Coyote (Karl was absolutely right. This is a must include. I went with 3 copies.) Creation Rites (Make fledglings and give them Obfuscate.) Private Audience (You control the vote.) Cryptic Rider (Helps get your Crusades off.) Water Dog Cards: Inside Dirt (3 pool damage or drain a vampire.) Communal Haven: Cathedral (Gave me extra actions when needed.) The Admonitions (I was able to cycle with ease.) Black Forest Base (Gaining 2 pool every turn is pretty good.)
